Embedded Eye

Give your gizmo the gift of sight

I have downloaded the GUI & libraries from GitHub.

ArduEyeGUI_v1.pde takes more than 1 hour to show the GUI in Windows7 64-bit computer.

I have tried different versions of processing ( 1.5.5 , 2.0b3 & 2.0b6) & ControlP5 libraries (1.5.2 & 2.0.3).

The following image shows the text printed when clicked RUN (Ctrl+R). This text printed very fast, but no luck with GUI.

Other example processing sketches run faster except this one.

If anyone faced the same problem, please reply a solution.

This is very strange- it never takes us more than a few seconds to start the GUI, even when using an older computer.

It is best to use version 1.5.5 of Processing and version 1.5.2 of the ControlP5 library. Please try this out and let us know what you find.

The following screenshot is from another Windows7 PC (1.5.1 processing IDE with 1.5.2 ControlP5 library). It seems working. I could not find processing 1.5.5 version.

With 1.5.1 processing, 1.5.2 ControlP5, It takes 6 min now to show the GUI on my windows7 pc( fastest pc in my work place).

Don't know whats wrong !!!

The gui shows 4 green lines  those i did not find on your youtube video.

The following shows screenshot of processing Output.

a few 50, -50 are printed when i connect to "Arduino MEGA 2560 R2"+stonyman with cellphone lens.

waiting for your feedback.
